She was predeceased by: her husband Karl "Chuck" Slaughterbeck; her brother Michael Niewiedzial; and her mother Juliann Niewiedzial. She is survived by: her children, Adam Setinc (Heather), Kristen Setinc, Ashley Slaughterbeck (Anthony Garza), Chad Slaughterbeck and Crystal Slaughterbeck; her grandchildren, Payton, Aiden, Joey, Frankie, Jace, Olivia and Brielle; her brother David Niewiedzial (Vicky); and her nieces and nephews, Matthew (Josie), Taylee, Vicky and Anjelica.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 8:30 AM to 9:15 AM at the Ridge Funeral Home (6620 W Archer Ave, Chicago, IL 60638). A prayer was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 9:15 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul's Catholic Church (2127 W 22nd Pl, Chicago, IL 60608).
