He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Vasilios Gerros; his wife Marguerite; his sons, Gavin (Elizabeth), Matthew (Jessica), James (Erica), Mark (Caitlyn) and Nicholas (Pamela); and his mother Katie. He was also cherished by father to his five sons and five daughters-in-law.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home (6150 N Cicero Ave, Chicago, IL 60646). A prayer will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the All Saints Catholic Cemetery (700 N River Rd, Des Plaines, IL 60016).
