He is survived by: his wife Judith Ann Noone Hughes (Ann); his children, Kathleen Hughes, Mary Hughes Schwane, Thomas Hughes (Karen), William Hughes, Eileen Padian (Douglas) and Joseph Hughes; his grandchildren, Jessica Bradford (Levi), Katie Hughes and Claire Padian; his brother Michael Noone; and his sister-in-law Margaret Noone. He is also survived by the nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Benedict Roman Catholic Church (2215 W Irving Park Rd, Chicago, IL 60618).
Poppy was a shining example of Catholic faith and charity, always engaging in activities like visits and learning new things with his grandchildren.
