He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Julia; and his siblings, John, Paddy, Joe, Frank, Martin, Kitty, May and Bridget.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his children, Patrick Donnelly (Ellen) and Noreen Metcalfe (Kevin); and his grandchildren, Clare, Katherine, Thomas Donnelly, Caitlin Prudente (Michael) and Patrick Reid Metcalfe (Joshua Caron). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home (6150 N Cicero Ave, Chicago, IL 60646). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 9:00 AM and at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Maryhill Cemetery (8600 N Milwaukee Ave, Niles, IL 60714). A graveside service was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials in Thomas' name would be appreciated to Misericordia.
