He was predeceased by: his son Michael Francis; his parents, Frank Sheehan and Joan Sheehan; and his siblings-in-law, Maureen Mulryan (Jim), Kathy McGee (Jim), Lori Hurley (Tom), Mary Beth Prendergast (John), Pat Grant (Marianne), Ann Roche (Butch) and Peggy Dineen (Tom).

He is survived by: his wife Eileen; his children, Sarah Duffy (Chad Thornberry), Bob Duffy, Katie Turnock (Brian) and Timothy McNamara; his grandchildren, Grace, Maeve, Eleanor, Frank, Will and Mick; his siblings, Mary Ellen Kiedrow (Dan), Mike Sheehan, Noreen O'Connor (Huda), Therese Walsh (Dan) and Pat Sheehan (Nancy); his aunt Mary Sheehan; and his friend Bill W..

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Tim's honor may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

“I was saddened to hear of Tim’s death from my good friend Karen Staskon Heath. I haven’t seen him in years but grew up w/ him and his brother, Mike from attending St. Christina’s school through 8th grade. Tim took me to a sophomore fall dance at Mother McAuley. Wow I thought I hit the lottery that he said yes. He was a great guy and I’ll keep fond memories of him. I offer my deepest condolences to his family. Nancy Neibert Harper”
