He is survived by: his wife Maria Ysabel Fernandez; his children, Teresa Fernandez, Rosa Fernandez, Guadalupe Sota (Rene), Samuel Fernandez (Laura), Luis Fernandez (Maria), Victor M. Fernandez (Elsa) and Cristina Ackerman (Chris); and his siblings, Jacinto Fernandez (Ofelia), Felix Fernandez (Guadalupe), Elvira Fernandez, Lorenza Fernandez and Trinidad Fernandez (late Sergio).
