He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Johnson and Joe Johnson; his former wife Nettie Pearl Johnson (Starkey); his wife Elvia Johnson (Brock); and his son Curtis James Johnson.
He is survived by: his son Lester (Lori); his granddaughter Christina Johnson; and his stepdaughter Lorez Stevens.
