It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Anderson of Chillicothe, Illinois, born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on August 20, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his stepdaughter Debbie Mooney-Dilonardo; and his sister Mary Lee Barker. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Mooney-Anderson (Martin); his children, Jill Pyzyma (Dennis) of Chicago, Jamie Anderson (Carol) of San Diego, CA and Judy Anderson of Daytona, FL; and his stepchildren, Doug Mooney (Joanne) of Chillicothe, Dane Mooney (Mary) of Bloomington, Dan Mooney (Pat) of Rome and Diane Butler of Chillicothe. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
