In loving memory of June A. Vonk of Chillicothe, Illinois, who departed this world on May 22, 2025 at the age of 92. June leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry L. Colwell and Grace L. Colwell (Stotler); her husband Paul Robert Vonk; her son Joseph Paul Vonk; and her grandson Raymond Ford.
She is survived by: her children, Jim Vonk (Bonnie) of Chillicothe, IL, Charles Vonk (Kathy) of Chillicothe, IL, Ray Vonk (Roce) of Peoria, IL, Ben Vonk (Carla) of Chillicothe, IL, Becky Ford (Dennis) of Chillicothe, IL, Cheryl Luetger (Tim) of Dunlap, IL and Patty Vonk-Guelker (Danny Cash) of Vonore, TN; and her siblings, Nancy Smolinski of Idaho, Ralph Colwell of Idaho, Charles Colwell of Idaho and Kenneth Colwell of Lacon, IL. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Chillicothe City Cemetery (510 W Frances St, Chillicothe, IL 61523).
