He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Alonzo and Mildred M. Hillard, Jr. (Birdsley); and his brother Lonnie Hillard. He is survived by: his daughter Erin Humphreys (Aaron) of Chillicothe; his fiancée Regina Smith of Chillicothe; his grandchildren, Kenny Dennis (Paige Munstedt) of Chillicothe, Samuel Dennis of Chillicothe, Alexis Humphreys of Chillicothe and Alton Humphreys of Chillicothe; his stepchildren, Luis Gonzalez of Pontiac, Jose Gonzalez of Varna and Cassandra Deffenbaugh (Jake) of Varna; and his siblings, Edward Hillard (Lynette), Bruce Hillard (Marcia), Kathleen Hillard and Diane Hillard-Sembell (Mark). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A rosary will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the St. Edward Catholic Church (1216 N 6th St, Chillicothe, IL 61523). Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials in Kenneth's name may be made to St. Edward Catholic School.
