It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kyle T. Rainey of Chillicothe, Illinois, who passed away on July 3, 2025, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Kyle T. Rainey to pay them a last tribute.
He is survived by: his parent Sherilyn Lillian Rainey (Faulkner) of Peterborough; his wife Leslie A. Rainey (Petkus); his children, Keegan Rainey (Madyson) of White House, TN and Nicholas Rainey of Chillicothe, IL; his parent Thomas Rainey (Thuy) of Colorado Springs, CO; his in-law Michael Petkus (Patricia) of Danville, IL; his siblings, Karl Rainey (Anne) of Warner Robins, Georgia, Alison Arlington (Michael) of Broomfield, CO and Thomas Thang Rainey of Colorado Springs, CO; and his brother-in-law Michael Petkus (Jamie) of Danville, IL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Weber-Hurd Funeral Home (1107 N 4th St, Chillicothe, IL 61523). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Peoria Nazarene Church (5504 N University St, Peoria, IL 61614). A burial was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Chillicothe City Cemetery (510 W Frances St, Chillicothe, IL 61523).
Should family and friends desire, memorials may be made to Kyle's family for a Trust for his 2 boys.
