With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret A. Scott (Chillicothe, Illinois), born in Decatur, Illinois, who passed away on August 16, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Alexander Hollis and Lorene Hollis; her husband Claude V. Scott, Jr.; and her son Kirk Scott. She is survived by: her children, Kathy Scott, Bruce Scott (Patti) and Jane Scott (Leigh); her granddaughters, Sarah Drummond (Ron), Lindsay Nevells (Max) and Claire Lansford (Kyle); and her sister Jane Foval (Tom). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.

Memorials in Maggie's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
