He is survived by: his wife Marilyn (Berg); his children, Dina Flickinger of Chillicothe, IL, Kimberly Wilkins of Peoria, IL, Richard Brakebill (Jennifer) of Pontoon Beach, IL and Laura Shambaugh (Jason) of Aubrey, Texas; his grandchildren, Deanna Helsey, Christopher Fraher, Britteny Hansen (Luke), Rachael Brakebill, Matthew Nelson II (Hanna), Samantha Brakebill, Tyler Shambaugh (Anamae), Hunter Shambaugh, Wyatt Shambaugh, Haley Turner, Alex Turner and Emma Turner; his great grandchildren, Edin Nelson, Raelynn Hansen, MaeLynn Shambaugh, Magnolia Shambaugh and Dominic Turner; his siblings, Judi Brakebill and Shirley Luby; his great grandchild Keegan; and his grandchildren, Laura and Jason. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
