We are sad to announce that on September 17, 2025, at the age of 94, Rose Marie Wunder of Chillicothe, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James and Lillian Wallace (Morris); her brother Tom Wallace; her son-in-law Matthew Fennell; and her brother-in-law Morris Strong.
She is survived by: her children, Jim Wunder (Susie) of Chillicothe and Tammy Fennell of Chillicothe; her sister Jeanne Wallace of Chillicothe; her sister-in-law Phyllis Strong of Lacon; her grandchildren, Tyler Wunder (Jen) of Mount Prospect Illinois, Shayna Steele (Patrick) of Lacon, Trisha Byrd (Wyatt), Zac Fennell (Kaiti) of Dunlap, IL and Traci Updyke (Sean) of Brimfield Illinois; and her husband Vern. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (418 N Center St, Lacon, IL 61540). A Mass was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
