It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosemary Smolek of Chillicothe, Illinois, born in North Judson, Indiana, who passed away on February 16, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Andrea Pepe and Maria Pepe (Carlucci); her husband George James Smolek; her daughter Linda Smolek-Abel; her grandson George Abel (Rebekah Conley); and her great grandchild Kristopher George Abel of Chillicothe. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
