It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thelma L. McMillan of Chillicothe, Illinois, who passed away on September 2, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Thelma may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Thelma touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis McFarden and Erma McFarden (Doran); and her husband James P. McMillan. She is survived by: her children, James McMillan of Princeville, IL, Rebecca McMillan of McAllen, TX, Joe McMillan (Katrina) of Chillicothe, IL and Susan Drissi of Normal, IL; and her siblings, Carol Connor (Don) of Chillicothe, IL, Jack McFarden of New Mexico and Gerry McFarden (Marian) of Creve Coeur, IL. She is also survived by six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren with one great-grandchild.
