In loving memory of Timothy R. Jones of Chillicothe, Illinois, who departed this world on October 18, 2025 at the age of 83. Timothy leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Irene Mae Jones-Shipman; his siblings, Larry Jones and Hattie Shipman-Kramer; and his siblings-in-law, Ron Litterst (Jerri) and Joanie Litterst.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou of Bernard's Church; his daughters, Lori Jo Libby (Bob) of Belleville, IL and Tina Jones of Chillicothe, IL; his grandchildren, Kyrie Libby-Sanders of O'Fallon, IL, Patty Clare Libby-Hefner (Jeff) of Collinsville, IL, Tim J. Jones of Chillicothe, IL, Michael J. Libby of Belleville, IL, Helen Libby of Belleville, IL and Catherine Libby of Champaign, IL; his siblings-in-law, Dennis Litterst, Becky Baum, Steve Muller and Cricket Hess (Rich); Elizabeth, Pyrrha and Harper. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Edward Catholic Church (1216 N 6th St, Chillicothe, IL 61523).
Memorials in Tim's name may be made to St. Edward Catholic Church.
