He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernes Holeman and Pauline Holeman (Tabor); and his brothers, Micheal, Kenneth, Jerry and George.

He is survived by: his wife Patty (Hede); his sons, David and Jim; his grandchildren, Robert and Kim; and his sisters, Shirley, Bernice (Paul Luft), Margie Wolfe, Karen (Dave Hart), Janice, Florence, Sue (Robert Beetschen) and Linda Calvert.
