He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Rex and Frances Lucille Hale (Vance); and his sisters, Judith Hale and Mary Lou Larch. He is survived by: his children, Troy Hale (Kelly) of Terre Haute and Terri Hale (Jerry Hastings) of Chrisman; his grandchildren, Jessie Hale (Lehea Schupp) of Chrisman, James Hale (Timberlee) of Chrisman, Breanna Hale of Mattoon, Conner Hale of Chrisman, Thomas Hale (Sierra) of Paris, Cody Morris (Tracy) of Terre Haute and Austin Merritt (Dakota) of Arcadia, Oklahoma; and his great grandchildren, Diamond Hale, Rhett Hale, Rynlee Hale, Preston Fowler, Adalee Morris, Brayden Hollingsworth and Jordan Monaghan.
