He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Cappello and Mildred Cappello (Lenfant); his son Kenton Cappello; his sister Delores Steele; and his niece Dawn Steele.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Kielich; his daughter Gayle Cappello of Aurora, IL; his brother Bruce Cappello of Westville, IL; his grandchildren, Trinity, Tyler, Tori, Abby and Josalyn; and his nieces and nephews, Jason, Stacy, Marlee, Kaylee, Doug and David. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
