He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Hastings and Lucy Hastings (Nichols); his wife Marilynn Buck; and his siblings, Bea, Juanita, Martha and Jerry.
He is survived by: his daughters, Nancy Kay, Brenda Horn (Kevin), Kathy Hastings and Elizabeth Barnett (Jeramiah); and his siblings, Claude Allen (Tom McClearin) and Betty Jo. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
