We are sad to announce that, on February 25, 2026, at the age of 85, Jimmie D. Gosney of Christopher, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Jimmie shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Jimmie farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Gosney and Lillian Gosney (Frisbee); and his siblings, Jerry and Judith. He is survived by: his wife Carlene Gosney (Palmiter); and his children, Rhonda Horton (Richard) of Mt Vernon, Carla Pryor (Phillip) of Ina and Stephen Gosney (Crystal) of Christopher. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
