It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Douglas Shukites of Christopher, Illinois, born in Herrin, Illinois, who passed away on March 31, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Charles and Juanita Rose Shukites (Higginson); his wife Judith Shukites (Yadloski); and his sisters, Helen Carter and Charlene Moore.
He is survived by: his sons, Phillip Shukites of Christopher and John Michael Shukites of Carbondale; his grandsons, Zane Shukites and Xander Shukites; his sister Marilyn Clements of Arnold, MO; and his niece Holley Smith. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St Jude's Children's Hospital and will be acted at the funeral home.
