Though Elda may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Jesus Barragan; her children, Lizbeth, Daisy and Edgar Barragan; her grandchildren, Aranza, Xavier and Milan; and her siblings, Isaias, Marcela, Petra, Tomasa and Francelia Martinez.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Suburban Family Funeral Home (5940 W 35th St, Cicero, IL 60804). A Mass will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony Church (1510 S 49th Ct, Cicero, IL 60804).
