She was predeceased by : her husbands, Marvin Barnes and Merle Dixon; and her sons, James Barnes, Albert Barnes and Bobby Barnes.
She is survived by : her daughter Alice Scott; and her siblings, James Gray, Laverda Johnson, Ruth Holder and Ruby Fondren. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
