He was loved and cherished by many people including : his close friend Guadelupe Herrera; his children, Alma Herrera (Oscar Favela), Hector Tapia (Josefina Martinez), Amparo Herrera (Luis Herrera), Placido Herrera (Olga Herrera), Jesus Herrera, Esperanza Diana Tapia, Josue Emanuel Tapia and Jaime Tapia Jr.; and his grandchildren, Jaime of Adrian, Angel, Julian, Jayden, Sophia, Ailani and Aziel.
