He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Dinah Zaragoza and Pedro Zaragoza; his siblings, Pete Zaragoza (June Gatch), Linda Jaracz (Rick Jaracz) and Christina Grodek (Jeff Grodek); his nephews, Bruce Madurzak (Natalie Wellhausen) and Peter; his niece Lisa Zaragoza (Noel Jacob); and his sister Diana.

But long-standing medical problems related to diabetes, kidney disease, and infections led Paul to more hospitals and finally, during the COVID pandemic, nursing home stays.

Donations can be made in his name to St. Mary's of Czestochowa.
