She was predeceased by: her siblings, Martha Alicia Garcia (late Jesus) and Enrique Hernandez Perez (late Sharon); and her siblings' children, Jesse and David. She is survived by: her husband Eduardo Ruiz; her daughter Claudia Fuentes-Pena (Julio); her grandchildren, Emilio Peña, Jessica Fuentes-Peña and Israel Fuentes-Peña; her sibling's children, Luis (Karla) and Angela; and her great-nephew Fabian.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Woodlawn Funeral Home (7750 W Cermak Rd, Forest Park, IL 60130). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 9:30 AM.
