He is survived by: his wife Mona Mitchell; his children, Michele Van, Noort (Ben), Melissa Ortiz (George) and Mark Mitchell; and his stepsons, Richard Bryan (Jennifer) and Bradley Bryan. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends.
Memorial donations may be given to the VFW in Fairfield, IL and will be accepted at the funeral home .Hosselton-Meridith Funeral Home, Cisne, Illinois.
