He is survived by: his wife Beverly; his children, Crystal Paul (Herb) and Steve Bass (Connie); his grandsons, Zack of Mt. Erie, Jakeb of Mt. Erie, Landon Paul of Mt. Erie, Colton of Mt. Erie and Levi Bass of Mt. Erie; his sisters-in-law, Janice Bass (Erich) of Tennessee, Ellen Bass of Aurora, IL and Margie Bass of Cisne, IL; his stepsister Jeanette Watson of Fairfield, IL; his siblings-in-law, Jim and Diane Chapman of Mt. Erie; his parents-in-law, Charles "Otis" and Goldie May Chapman; his sisters-in-law, Wanda Tomblinson (Chapman) and Doris Tarter (Chapman); and his nephews, Jackie Lee Bass Jr., Johnnie Bass and Seth Chapman.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hosselton Meridith Funeral Home (305 Park St, Cisne, IL 62823). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at the McKendree Cemetery (1577 Co Rd 2650E, Mt Erie, IL 62446).
Memorial donations in memory of Bob may be given to the McKendree Cemetery Fund or Mt. Erie Ruritan Club and will be accepted at the funeral home.
