He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelius Kocher and Dorothy Kocher (Zwilling); his wife Una Marie Uebinger; his grandson Jeremy Jacobsen; his brother Norman Kocher; and his brothers-in-law, Sylvan Ochs, Herman Steber and Joseph Weber.
He is survived by: his son Allen Kocher (Kathleen) of Marseilles, IL; his grandson Daniel Jacobsen (Marcel Gabitan); his granddaughter-in-law Amy Jacobsen; his great grandchildren, Alex and Jocelyn Jacobsen; his siblings, James Kocher (Jane) of Olney, Mary Lou Ochs of Newton, Marlene Steber of Claremont, Karen Weber of Canton, OH, Rita Kocher of Newton, IL, Fred Kocher (Sharon) of Chatham, IL, Richard Kocher (Anita) of Oblong, IL, Virginia Brooks (John) of Savannah, GA and Luke Kocher (Trish) of Sun Prairie, WI; and his sister-in-law Laura Jean Kocher. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (220 S Elliott St, Olney, IL 62450). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the St Joseph Cemetery (6899 County Rd 1600 N, Claremont, IL 62425).
