He was predeceased by: his parents, Elzie Sexton and Juanita Sexton (Luther); his daughter Becky Sue Schulte; and his siblings, Opal Navarre, Juanita Green, Roy Sexton, Buster Sexton and Linda Heard.
He is survived by: his wife Susie Sexton of Claremont; his sons, Rocky L Sexton of Claremont and Elzie Sexton (Nichole) of Ogden, IL; his grandchildren, Brooke Wright (Tyler), Madison Bell (Lucas) and Trent Sexton; his great grandchildren, Wyatt Wright and Blaire Bell; his siblings, Joan Caswell, Judy Guidry, Danny Sexton, Vickie Hollingsworth and Charles Sexton; and his close friend Gary Sloan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Eureka Cemetery (2992 N Wood River Rd, Olney, IL 62450).
