She was predeceased by: her parents, William H. and Mabel McCaw (Shafer); her spouse Francis Orville Smith; and her siblings, Donald McCaw and Mildred Clifford.
She is survived by: her sons, Patrick Smith (Barbara) of Olney and Robert Smith (Lila) of Vincennes, IN; and her grandchildren, Andrew Smith (Lenore) of Darien, IL, Tricia Becker (Phil) of Dane, WI, Douglas Smith (Jesse) of Olney, Amy Eigenrauch (Brian) of Carterville, IL, Brandy Pool (Philip) of Katy, TX and Suzanne Fehrenbacher (Ryan) of Magnolia, TX. She is also survived by 12 Great grandchildren; and two nieces and two nephews.
