We bid farewell to John Karavites of Clarendon Hills, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 31, 2025 at the age of 88. John touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Themistoklis Karavites and Kalliope Karavites; and his siblings, Panagioti (late Christine), Nick (late Vicki) and Foti Karavites.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Annette Helms; his daughters, Wendy Scott-Nachtman (Robert) and Lisa Helms; his grandsons, Christopher Valdez (Kayla), Joseph Nachtman and Scott; his great grandchild Christopher Joseph Valdez; and his siblings, Efstahia Anastasopoulos (late Saki), Yiota Giatrakou (late George), Ilia (Maria), Andrea (Sophia) and Christo (Maria). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
