It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Connie Spitzner of Clay City, Illinois, who passed away on April 11, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel P. and Mary R. Patridge (Sloan); her parents-in-law, Clarence and Mary Spitzner (Hale); and her siblings-in-law, Mary E. Patridge, Betty Brown, Bill, John, Melvin and Charlie Spitzner.
She is survived by: her husband Mike Spitzner of Clay City; her sons, Michael "Mick" W. Spitzner (Leslie) of Flora and Steven R. Spitzner (Lesli) of Clay City; her grandchildren, Eric Spitzner (Megan), Mason Spitzner (Marissa), Peyton Stammer (Jakob), Paige Klingler (Joe), Dakota Spitzner (Josey) and Carter Spitzner; her great grandchildren, Caroline Spitzner, Cassidy Spitzner, Sadie Spitzner, Sophie Spitzner, Luke Spitzner, Nathaniel Stammer, Gabriel Stammer, Myles Klingler and Grady Klingler; her siblings, Dan Patridge and Kathy Padgett (Pat); and her sister-in-law Joan Pearce (Bill). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations are suggested to the Clay City Volunteer Fire Department or the St. Louis Children's Hospital NICU, and these will be accepted at the funeral home.
