She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry J. Woidt and Estella Woidt (Martin); her husband Alfred V. "Briggum" Poe; and her son-in-law Joe Wolfe. She is survived by: her daughter Carol Britton (Shelby) of Louisville; and her grandchildren, Curtis Wolfe (Debbie) of Kinmundy, Angie Stover (Mike) of Clay City, Troy Wolfe (Theresa) of Clay City and Leonard Wolfe (Mary) of Fairfield. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Cemetery (101 Luther St, Effingham, IL 62401).
Memorial donations are suggested to causes benefitting those with type I juvenile diabetes or type II diabetes and these will be accepted through the funeral home.
