He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Wiegel and Elfrieda Wiegel; his in-laws, Chlorus and Leona Dennis; and his siblings-in-law, Ralph Dennis, Terry Casey, Gene Smith, John Cox and Shirley Cox.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Dennis of Clay City; his children, Rich Wiegel of Flora, Hank Wiegel (LuCinda) of Louisville and Misty Wheeler (Steve) of Clay City; his grandchildren, Jessica Marengo (Tony), Bobbie Jo Ray (Andy), Justin Wiegel (Lorien), Chuckie Wheeler (Leah) and Scott Taylor (Breanna); his great grandchildren, Daniel Thomas, Chuck Hurt, Elizabeth Pearce and Julie Boyd; and his sister Sandra Smith. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Frank & Bright Funeral Home (500 N Main St, Flora, IL 62839). A masonic service will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations are suggested to the family for expenses, and these will be accepted through the funeral home.
