He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Roberts and Iva Alcorn Roberts; and his siblings, Moneta DeWitt (Joe), Peggy Hess (Orel) and Joe Roberts (Norma).
He is survived by: his wife Hilda Hess; his children, James Roberts (Gretchen) of Liberty, MO, Jerry Roberts (Debra) of Liberty, IL, Samuel Roberts (Carolyn) of Liberty, IL, Susan Balzer (Mike) of Liberty, IL, Jeffrey Roberts (Brenda) of Macon, MO, John Roberts (Beverly) of Camp Point, IL and Jesse Roberts (Lori) of Clayton, IL; and his siblings, Marjorie Knight of Augusta, IL. and Earl Roberts. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren, and two on the way; 1 great great grandson.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Liberty Christian Church (102 N Park St, Liberty, IL 62347). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Pleasant View Cemetery or the Great River Honor Flight.
