She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Grist and Gladys Clark Grist; her husband Wayne D. Sweeting; and her siblings, Virginia Couch and Robert Lee Grist.
She is survived by: her children, Russ Sweeting of Clayton and Beth Spann (Steve) of Clayton; her grandchildren, Allen Sweeting (Jenny) of Columbia, MO, Chris Johnson of Clayton, Katrina Nixon (Kale) of Kahoka, MO and Kandy Spann (Renee) of Barry; her great grandchildren, Maddox, Braxton, Lexy, Zeke Sweeting, Valerie Shinn (Luke), Jorden Still (Molly), Jakob Still (Jaelyn), Koy, Kayne, Kennyck and Kyper Nixon; and her great great grandchild Charlotte Still.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hamilton Funeral Homes - Clayton (200 N Jefferson St, Clayton, IL 62324). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Federated Church (101 E Main St, Clayton, IL 62324).
