Merle Goudschaal Obituary

With solemn reverence, we commemorate Merle Goudschaal (Clayton, Illinois), whose life came to an end on November 26, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert "Mack" Goudschaal and Edith Gerdes Goudschaal; his brothers, Glenn and Gerald Goudschaal; and his sister-in-law Sherry Goudschaal.

He is survived by: his wife Connie Mae Heubner of Peter's Lutheran Church; his children, Amy Jo Lattimore (Mike) of Dallas, TX, Mark Goudschaal (Amy) of Crystal Lake, IL and Angela Goudschaal of Chicago; his grandsons, Logan Lattimore of Dallas, Ryan Goudschaal of Richmond, VA and Ethan Goudschaal of Ames, IA; his sister Carol Bordenkircher (Richard) of Rolling Meadows, IL; and his sister-in-law Janet Goudschaal of Clayton.

Visitation was held on Sunday, November 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (1003 Hayes St, Golden, IL 62339). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
