He was predeceased by: his parents, David Culver and Anita Culver (Dodson); his siblings, David Jr., George, Charles, Vernon, Martha, Mildred and Madeline; and his son-in-law Keith Ballantine.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Culver (Payne) of Clifton; his daughters, Deanna Ballantine of Chebanse and Amy Culver of Manteno; his sister Margaret Parker of Murfreesboro, TN; and his granddaughter Allison Ballantine of Chebanse. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
