It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Frederiksen of Coal City, Illinois, born in Streator, Illinois, who passed away on January 4, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his father Earl Leroy Frederiksen; his brother-in-law Vince Hodgson; and his nephews, Kevin Togliatti and Craig Holmes. He is survived by : his mother Betty Jean Vilt of Dwight; his wife Sue Togliatti; his children, Amy Borchelt (Tom) of Coal City, Amanda Burns (Steven) of Coal City and Erik Frederiksen (Alanna) of Coal City; his grandchildren, Jacob, Natalie Borchelt, August, Victoria Burns and Nolan Frederiksen; his stepmother Lois Frederiksen of Arizona; his siblings, Maryann Krug (Jimmy Dean) of Coal City, Doug Sutton (Cheri) of Texas, Cinda Conroyd (Michael) of Arizona, Lark Frederiksen (Deb) of Verona, Leann Havekost of Arizona and Michelle Wilson (Don) of Shorewood; his aunts, Ethel McConnell of Ottawa and Marie Frederiksen of Aurora; and his brothers-in-law, Dave Togliatti (Donna) of Coal City and Marc Togliatti (Merikay) of Morris. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
