With solemn reverence, we commemorate Steven A. McCawley of Coal City, Illinois, whose life came to an end on October 10, 2025 at the age of 37, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Ira and Arlene Kibler; his uncles, Jay Spolarich, George Pelton, Walter Gutzman, Roger Strohm and Don Kibler; his aunt Lucille Strohm; Shaderic "Sonny" McCawley.
He is survived by: his parents, Steve McCawley and Cindy McCawley (Kibler); his siblings, Alex of Coal City and Madison McCawley of Coal City; his grandmother Shirley Simpson (McCawley) of Wilmington, IL; his aunts and uncles, Rick Kibler of Braceville, IL, Rev. Scott McCawley of Naperville, IL, Shari VanDuyne (Chris) of Wilmington, IL and Bev Romanetto (Scott) of Coal City; his great-aunt Bonnie Pelton of Carbon Hill, IL; his great-uncle Tipton McCawley (Marilyn) of Wheaton, IL; and his cousins, Luke VanDuyne, McClain VanDuyne, Mason VanDuyne, Madeline Romanetto, Ellee Romanetto and Kevin Gutzman.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Berst Center of Assumption Parish Coal City. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
