He is survived by: his children, Cody D. Matejeck of Coal Valley, Tatum Marie Lee Baldwin of Rock Island, Ethan Matejeck of Davenport and Carolyn Eckstein of Rock Island; his grandchildren, Cali, Jonathan, Cannon, Gianna, Za'Kaya and Za'Mariaa; and his friend Michael Krack.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Trimble Funeral Home & Crematory - Coal Valley (1700 1st St, Coal Valley, IL 61240). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
