It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donna M. Peterson of Coal Valley, Illinois, who passed away on May 22, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Heist and Freida Heist (Jacobson); her son William Peterson; her son-in-law Jon Nordling; and her brothers, Donald and Robert Heist.
She is survived by: her husband Willard "Bud" Peterson of Coal Valley; her children, Michael Peterson (Diane) of Opelika, AL, Becky Fuelling (Mark) of Geneseo and Keith Peterson (Gina) of Geneseo; her grandchildren, Maggie Peterson, Meri Considine, Brandon, Bradley Nordling, Bethany Yowell, Alexis Boswell and Haley Bugumba; and her sister Sharon Gramling (Bob) of Geneseo. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
