He was predeceased by : his parents, Lawrence Laverenz and Ella Laverenz (Diederichsen); and his brothers, Don and Gene. He is survived by : his wife Terrie Swanson; his children, Shana Schindler (Kurt) of Le Claire, IA, Katie Crawford (Mike) and Bekka Laverenz of Des Moines, IA; and his grandchildren, Courtney Schindler, Roy Schindler, Liam Crawford and Emersyn Crawford.
