He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Ledbetter and Ruby Ham Ledbetter; his wife Rita "Pixie" Laubert; his children, Brian Ledbetter (Bobbie), Stephanie Seidl (Paul) and Alexis Bailey (Joshua); his grandchildren, Anthony Becker, Brook Ledbetter, Kaitlyn Ledbetter, Joshua Seidl, Elizabeth Seidl, Micaiah Seidl, Kerrighan Webster, Kyndall Webster and Liam Bailey; and his sister Phyllis Light (Jake).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
