He is survived by: his wife Judith L. Miner; his daughter Michele Scott; his daughter-in-law Rosemary Dittmer (Gary); his grandchildren, Nichole Dittmer (Dalton), Karrie Scott (Josh), Technical Sergeant Shaun Dittmer (Lauren) and Danielle Scott; and his sister Carolyn Pond. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the St. Peter's Lutheran Church (309 Adams St, Coatsburg, IL 62325). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
