She was predeceased by: her parents, James Everett and Clyde Laverne Lamer (Messamore); her husband Homer Lee Forby; and her siblings, Faye Ballance and Stanley Lamer.
She is survived by: her children, Lynn Geske (Hasan Sevim) of Carbondale and Jeff Forby (Susan) of Cobden; her grandchildren, Emily Dawn Gaddis (Robert), Travis Geske (Joni) and Ellen Geske (Caleb Robinson); and her great grandchildren, Ryan, Erin, Ethan Gaddis, Laina, Elise Robinson and Sabrina Geske. She is also survived by several nephews, other relatives and friends.
