He is survived by: his children, Anthony (Karen), Edwin Schoonover and Jessica Schoonover; his grandson Justice Harshbarger; and his siblings, Stanley Schoonover, Ronald Schoonover, Russell Schoonover, Terry Schoonover (Joyce), Shelva Schoonover, Becky Schoonover of Kansas City, MO and Connie Valla (Jim).

Memorial is to the American Cancer Society.
